Phase 2 is approximately three miles long and begins at 130th Ave (current terminus of Phase 1) and extends east to 112th Ave in the town of Nunica in Crockery Township. Phase 2 connects the town of Nunica to Phase 1 and a trailhead is planned in Nunica as well. Phase 2 provides safe non-motorized access across I-96 which has a new interchange designed to accommodate the NBT under the highway. Phase 2 was completed in 2020
